Coming from Brazil shortly before, I had earlier experience working in the areas of beauty and skin care since the age of 14 yrs old.
A health conscious trend evolved into a beauty revolution and New York City was simply the place to be. By 1983 I felt convinced that New York City was ready for our services and also ready for the sexy Brazilian Bikini Wax!
In 1982, health, fitness and proper self-care, were fast becoming a part of the American culture. Sonia was fortunate to be at the right place, in NYC, at the right time. |

We opened our first salon in Manhattan shortly thereafter, bringing comfort to many and a unique oasis to New York City. We are pleased and humbled to have played a small part in this exciting and very popular beauty import. Today, we continue to specialize in Brazilian Bikini Waxing and soothing body care for woman and men, continuing a long standing tradition of importing our wax directly only from native Brazil, for all of our salons. |
